Abstract:
The objective of the model is at field scale to simulate: - Potential production. - Water limited production. - Soil water balance. In the model a crop comprises a root and a shoot (including storage organs). The root is characterized by its dry matter content and its rooting depth. The shoot is characterized by its dry matter content and its leaf area index. The model simulates one growing season. The soil water model is of the tipping bucket type.
